Greater Wellington Regional Council Vote: Farming to End, Only 20% of Belmont Park to Be Planted!

On 19 June 2025, Greater Wellington Regional Council voted to end farming at Belmont Park over a ten year period.

Choosing to plant just 20% of the 1,000-hectare public farm and leave 80% to regenerate without funding.
